Did you watch a 4k version of the film? Even on blue ray if its of a higher quality you can see the agents eyes behind the glasses. Robs them of theor intimidation. You should check out the animatrix at some point though.

For the most I enjoyed DA:V but do agree with your revisit. I'm someone who jumped into the series from its beginning and have actually got a soft spot for every game. I also agree with your coments about the companions. I think DA2 has the right balance for companions out of the 4 games.
