Yes as a Spurs fan I’m hoping he’ll stay! You’d think he’d be a great person for Takai to learn from if they do get to work together. He’s certainly not at Romero’s level right now - few are - so looks more succession planning than immediate replacement (I hope!)

Really interesting piece, thanks! Sounds like he shares some attributes with Romero - breaks lines to challenge players in possession, good passing, good anticipation, even has the poor disciplinary record…hopefully he can learn from Cuti and develop at Spurs
