I was also excited to witness the return of "Nybakat Bröd", the very first SMASK Malmö winner that I got to see win the 2016 contest at Malmö Live! I could never have imagined that I would experience another live performance of this legendary song almost 9 years later. And they still got it!

It was especially exciting that SMASK has returned to Malmö Live after all the chaos during and after the pandemic, and it was a really well done comeback! ✨️ I can't wait for next years contest at this fantastic concert hall!

I had an absolute blast last week at Riks-SMASK (the first one hosted by Malmö since 2015)! This was the very first one that I got to experience live and it was absolutely amazing. Also, big congratulations to SMASK Ingesund for another well deserved win!

I hope we all get to work together again soon, and hopefully this project will be performed in other parts of the world in the future!

This collaboration has been such a fun journey, with lots of meetings, workshops and concerts in Denmark, Sweden and the Faroe Islands. We're also extremely happy with our shiny new album and we urge you to go purchase your own copies of the album and/or listen to it on streaming platforms!

I want to thank the amazing Gothenburg Oboe Quartet and my dear colleagues Alvi Joensen and Veronika Voetmann for all the incredible work on our project "Fred i vår tid" (peace in our time), a venture that culminated in an album release-concert at S:t Pauli K:a, Gothenburg last week!

Another successful Connect Festival done, with the #composition students at Malmö Academy of Music!

This years theme was commedia dell'arte and resulted in some very fun and interesting pieces!

Tongeneration, consisting of #composition students at Malmö Academy of Music (MAM), hosts this festival for new music every year at different venues.

#SMASK Malmö has delivered another fantastic show! So glad that I got to be part of this competition once again!

Big thanks to Pia Olofsson who sang my song "Mitt Nya Paraply" (which came in 3rd place), she did it so much justice!

Now we look forward to Riks-SMASK on April 14!

I want to congratulate Cecilia Edman Bergman for a fantastic debut #concert in Copenhagen yesterday!

It was such a great honour to be asked to contribute with new music for this concert. My piece "A Letter To Jörð" for #flute and #guitar was played wonderfully by the amazing Duo Mardi!

On February 28 this year, Gothenburg Oboe Quartet will release their debut album "Fred i vår tid" (Peace in our time)!

This album (which features works by Veronika KroellVoetmann, Alvi Joensen, Benjamin Britten and I) is the culmination of a concert project launched in 2023.

Classical guitarist Cecilia Bergman is having her debut concert at the Royal Danish Academy of Music on February 5!

Among the pieces that will be performed is my new composition "A Letter for Jörđ" for flute and guitar. Really excited about this!
