Watching the very first Adam Sandler movie, a lot going on here

Rewatched Asteroid City and liked it way more this time. At first I dismissed it as pretty/funny but ultimately kinda empty, I thought the framing device was overwrought, but now I really connect it’s messaging on creating art and love how it works as a meta commentary on Wes’ own filmmaking style📽️
