the same dark phase regal spider that’s in my profile banner did a complete 180 and molted into a bright orange adult. you never know what they will look like in when they mature 🧡🖤 #invertefest #jumpingspider

the most iconic woolly bear looks like this FYI. they are named the ‘isabella tiger moth’.

this one is specifically an ‘agreeable tiger moth’. i found them yesterday at my local park. it’s been so cold out that when i found them they weren’t moving.. i’m keeping them inside for a day or so until it gets a bit warmer out.

my fave thing is taking photos and trying to find matches using reverse image searching :3 i get to learn about things i usually don’t notice.
i prob am going to sound under educated in some areas. i do this as a hobby primarily with moths/mantids/spiders

paper wasp flew into our apartment and seemed like it was looking for something.. it must have been super thirsty because i gave it a wet cotton round and it immediately calmed down. i think i made a friend ^_^ going to release it after it gets some good rest
