Human rights / Cybercrime work
We keep arguing about enforcement, accountability, and intent — but the real failure happens before harm is even recognised as harm.
Google explained my work better than I can ;)

You can’t protect what you can’t see.
Let’s work hard in ensuring human rights are accessible to everyone, as promised.
Recognition is needed before protection can be given. #maketheworldseeagain

It might seem like a joke to academia, but for me, it marks a personal milestone. Giving a name to the gap makes it possible to insist that my experience—and my truth—might actually be real. Kind of pathetic.

If 406 instances are enough to reveal a structured pattern, it’s reasonable to consider that there could be 4,060, or even 40,600 cases that use this channel as part of its broader ecosystem.

Again, not to undermine others suffering. But when stories doesn’t add up, its needs to be called out. I can be lashed at, but if you did not get stuck here for a year asking for help, you don’t get to be the one lashing.

What happens when systemic and procurement delays prevent victims from being recognised behind screens and crime scenes, effectively forcing them to remain where they are? Are they then treated as criminals? And what about the time they lose while the system fails to act?

These gatekeeps are exactly why victims unacknowledged. One year ago I could understand, calls for help as red flags. But even when you try to speak the truth. Insane.
Said it a hundred times and gonna say it again. Stories are narrated online, and awareness is the best way for prevention.
