Knight does not mean medieval and knight does not always had plate armour. Popular image of plague doctors does not existed in medieval era. People used mail armour way before medieval era and continued to use after it. Also gunpowder A.K.A. blackpowder existed in medieval era.

Religion in CK3 is kinda weird. Religion and culture needs a rework but still being pagan and raiding "civilized" peoples land and destroying their "civilized" world is one of the funniest mechanics.

It took like 20-30 years with only 2 wars for dutch. I just had 3 dutchies when i started. Diplomacy is the most powerful skill in CK3
