Not a single motive to buy a Cybertruck. To move people: a car (smaller👍🏻); to move load: a proper van or truck (bigger capacity); to move people and occasionally big loads: SUVs (less ugly and smaller). What remains… bulletproof? I’ve never seen a gun in hands of others than police or militaries.

Hay muchas pelis y series con alto presupuesto que si, los efectos mucho mejores, pero que igual dilatan el tiempo que da vergüencita ajena.

Cuando en GoldenEye, el General Ourumov huye llevándose a Natalia, mira hacia atrás, ves un muro y de repente Bond lo atraviesa con un tanque.
(en esa misma persecución hay otro choque visualmente muy satisfactorio, pero es un anuncio muy poco disimulado de Perrier, lo que le quita puntos glamour)

I feel the same about other Yamaha instruments I play or hear (my acoustic guitar, my daughter’s clarinet, my cousin’s piano). All of them good baseline instruments that sound wonderful played by a good performer.

I did some class work about NTP (a protocol to synchronise device clocks) and learned about the different corrections of the “regular and ideal” pattern of time keeping. Since then I never tried to write code for time counting myself, because looks simple but really it’s a complex matter.

Cuando me fui a vivir solo empecé a mirar alquileres de pisos amueblados y lo abandoné al mes al ver que ninguno tenía muebles para libros y en casi ninguno me cabía un escritorio (esto era antes del auge del teletrabajo). Sin amueblar fue más caro, pero el mobiliario era el de mi estilo de vida.

Fuck Zara, but for some other reasons: that campaign has no resemblance at all with a funeral. At Zara they don’t mind about Israelis or Palestinians as long as they can off-shore labor to other countries without being asked about work conditions, or do financial “tricks” to benefit from tax cuts.

Thanks a lot for posting this. I’ve seen the “zoomed” images before, but seeing it in context, located in a concrete zone in the sky, it helps to understand it even more.

Seeing this from outside USA is crazy, I would panic. I’m 50yo and I’ve never seen a fire weapon outside its holster, nor carried by anybody not a police/military. Submachine guns like those? Only guards protecting military buildings or a few civilian ones like the residence of the president.

Trade deals may be a need for some countries, and they could happen at short term. But in the long term, those countries will look for other more reliable and stable partners.

Nobody should ever criticise on people having or not having kids. Because it is a perfectly valid personal choice, because sometimes people that can’t have say they don’t want because its hurtful, and because how with the current population grow rate the “planet withering away” argument works?

Some years ago here (Spain) it was broadcasted in open TV (private TV, with commercials). The numbers then may not have been millions, but as least it was hundreds of thousands of viewers. The point is, sponsors are not paying for nothing.

F1 is shown on TV also, and in TV the logo is seen also in moments when it is not blurry. I don’t know current number of viewers, but it is far more than 4.000 people.
