Its a FTE longer term job. Like there's no min or max contract length. But it would likely be a multi year gig.

I think the thing that's been my blinder is trying to be a part of Artemis, because it just seems epic to say I was involved in that. But like you said, HSF isn't going anywhere.

Yeah I plan on applying soon actually. Everyone I have talked to about it has said the same thing, that I should apply now and just see what happens.

The company will cover all relocation costs. The the COL would go up a little but the pay is about 1.5X my current pay so I almost would notice.

Money fucking talks and it talks loud and what its saying is "go to Washington".

Idk I really need the pay this job is offering, I just dont know if I want it more than I do the chance to work in HSF.

So now I face a dilemma. Do I pursue HSF and a masters like I originally planned on, here in Denver, or do I follow the money for now and go to Washington for this potential opportunity?

The sign on bonus alone beats my current salary by a fair margin. Literally I think I might have to follow the same path my friend is. I would literally be looking at paying off all my debts in the first year and then some. Like it would be a massive impact if I got a similar offer to my friend.

I feel that pain. I struggle with it myself with my job. Just know that whatever path you need to take to find your confidence again, we're all here for you and will support you along the way.

Tyty! This is the first piece of leatherwork I've made where I actually really planned it out half decently and actually incorporated some more "sophisticated" methods. I def made a lot of mistakes and theres a lot I would do differently thanks to learning along the way, but I'm still happy with it.

To paraphrase my inner monolog:

After 3 days there, I am exhausted. My sleep schedule is so whack now.

But sitting under a couple Centaurs for a couple days is an awesome experience I wont soon forget (probably cause im gonna go back soon)
