I said it on YouTube, and I'll say it here: Just make Farragut a 2nd contact ship. Yes, it was a joke on Lower Decks, but it works in the Universe and it would explain why it's so often close by. Following in the wake of bigger ships is its mission. Preliminary scans and follow ups. UPs not DOWNs

Does this episode say that Pike's fate, still happening by the way, was to help Batel accept and embrace the idea of fate/destiny which sets her up to accept and act on her own fate when it's presented?

That's why Republicans are anti vaccine/science/public health, they need to change the statistics to make disease the number one killer of children in this country. Shift focus to get rid of a problem.

My biggest WTH? Of this episode is why did the writer(s) get Una and Jadzia confused? Close your eyes and put Jadzia in all Una's scenes especially the "Don't wait up" and they make perfect sense and work

I agree that cinematography needs to be different it was the idea of the technology being different, which may have been a misunderstanding on my part.
I also agree weak episode. Scavenger should have been a 2 parter fight then rescue

Knowing Star Trek has an anniversary next year has left me feeling both this episode's documentary concept and Space Adventure Hour were rejected and reworked ideas for how to celebrate.

I would have liked a line by either Scotty or Kirk as everyone walked onto the bridge along the lines of "well at least you all will know where to sit and where the buttons are since the Bellerophan and Constitution classes use the same bridge model."
