Home Secretaries & the government should be called out every time they use the phrase "illegal migration" without mentioning what safe & legal routes are available for asylum seekers escaping conflict. There isn't one. And no one is illegal.

Just in 2024, 262 prisoners were accidentally released from prison and 7 more even after Kebatu's release, many of whom are criminals potentially as violent and dangerous as Kebatu but not one of them has received the same coverage as he did. No nationwide manhunt, no comments from the government.
