As in, games with female protagonists are often sequels in series that started with male protagonists? I'd never consciously noticed that before, but you're right. I can rattle off a dozen examples off the top of my head, but can only think of one that's the other way round (Life is Strange)

Absolutely must recommend Runaway to the Stars by @jayeatonart.bsky.social

Same, methylphenidate gave me quite bad heart palpitations and jaw grinding, and didn't noticeably ameliorate my ADHD. Lisdexamphetamine has been much better.

I saw a post saying that it was the perfect monument: perpetually performing debate but incapable of actually listening or understanding.

Something like Verbeschissenisierungsinbegriff?

Which is the fundamental basis of conservative thought, when you get right down to it

I can see the argument now: a cis teacher wouldn't be able to insist on being called Mx. either, so it's actually not discrimination to prevent a trans teacher from doing so.

Seems like the sort of shit argument our court system would fall for.

How else would you count up to 168? 144 + 12 = 156
August 14, 2025 at 3:13 PM
Shouldn't each section on the left fingers count as 13, not 12?

Ok I actually would hire you, there's a thing I'd like doing with a 3D printer

I've heard of people bypassing the photograph check with Death Stranding's photo mode or even just using ragdolls in GMod

Absolutely ridiculous. All dogs already have autism

It doesn't even have to be front and centre! At this point I'd be happy with it being there at all

Is it so different from the way positional notation works? After all, 23 doesn't mean 2 times 3.

Shouldn't BigInt.SQRT1_2 equal 1, not 0?

A housemate of mine at uni once dressed me up in one of her corsets, which I really enjoyed for *some* reason, but i was too shy to bring it up afterwards and she never offered again. Could've saved myself a few years with just a few more nudges. Ah, well, made it here eventually

I remember meeting up with some friends after having been on hrt a few months and being shocked to realise I'd gone from being the same height as the taller of the two of them to nearly at the average of their heights. Very weird experience because nobody had mentioned it as a side effect to me yet

Spider-Man's on PC now. Most of the PS5 games I wanted to play are by now, it's basically just Death Stranding 2 at this point. Guess I'll wait but it's gonna suck having to dodge spoilers and not being able to participate in the community while it's new and fresh
June 26, 2025 at 3:19 PM
It sucks, I don't even own a PS5, and I don't really wanna buy one just for a single game, but I also really wanna play Death Stranding 2. I was all excited about it up until a few days when I found out it was an exclusive.

Still, you want a more pedantic answer? According to a study in Scientific Reports, the smallest air temperature difference that can be detected by people with 95% accuracy is 0.91 °C, closer to 1 °C than 1 °F. Fahrenheit's extra precision is meaningless for "human experience".
June 23, 2025 at 8:14 PM
I'm not wrong, though. Fahrenheit isn't intuitive to me.
