@billybragg.bsky.social I got to catch you in June 1985 at the Tower Theater near Philadelphia. You played with The Smiths and came out with just your guitar and an amplifier and completely blew us away. I became a lifelong fan from just seeing you crush that one set.

I got to see him many moons ago in Philly playing alongside Aimee Mann - what a great show. They both have such a cool vibe and are underappreciated IMHO.

Such a great version of that tune. That was my introduction to him and found that he’s a real talent. Love his authenticity.
