P.S. I have decided that I will at some point post a list of Star Wars media and a quick rating of each. So this score may be different on that, but I wanted to share my thoughts right away.

This would also make sense, that way we see him gain more confidence and face Jod. Jod would underestimate him, and Wim takes him down. Knowing he has no other options, then he gives up. Idk, there is just a lot I felt they could have done differently. I will give it a tentative 5/10.

It doesn't feel like him, he would have run. Why should he be afraid of Wim with a saber? I know they were going for the fact that Jod was not trained and he isn't very powerful in the force, but he could have tried. Maybe at least have Jod be beaten by Wim to everyone's surprise.

Jod is a very interesting character and I thought maybe they could have done more for his story, rather than some throw away lines at the finale. Side note: that part where he trauma dumps is so random and forced (pun intended). Also, his ending where he just gives up and stays in the tower was odd.

Side note: I do in fact like that this is disconnected from the rest of the saga. Also, it paints the new republic in a nice light, making them seem like heros, and like they are competent. I feel as though the new republic is often seen as weak and powerless, so this was nice.

However, I find most of the kids to be very meh. None of them are super interesting and feel kinda one note. They don't really go through any development or change, even though I thought they could have implemented it very easily. They changed slightly, but not enough for my liking.

So I think the show was okay. Star Wars has been (for the most part) kinda in a slump recently and unfortunately I think this one keeps with a majority trend of being painfully mediocre. The idea itself is interesting, and I think some of the characters are interesting like Jod and 33.

For real

Bro there was already backlash for his character just existing as it was. Along with Rey's character. Unfortunately the Star Wars community has a lot of racist and sexist people in it, which is really sad because I really think it's such a good franchise from a certain standpoint.
