I think any leader gets stale after that long, but for now I’m happy he is in. Let’s see how the next 2 years go. He’ll win a majority next time if it goes well!

That looks incredible!

The answer is simple, don’t trade (sell) in this market.

You can’t control volatility, you can’t control what Trump says/does.

What you can control is what you do. Stay the course, keep your investments, don’t make major changes to a long term strategy.

Two of the best in the industry. A real meeting of the minds! Great listen Robb!!!

I hate to make comments about her appearance. However, she looks like a Trump handmaiden with all her plastic surgery. 😱

Cheese is the bare minimum. But I like a loaded burger!

That’s very true, but probably true in all areas of life. Best people don’t stay, get promoted go elsewhere.

I do believe it! Because my experience is one of high quality people who care and want to make a difference. Experience with independent financial advisors not as good.

We’re so laser focused on creating value for clients (fair enough) that we lose sight of value creation for advisors and firms.

Advisors deserve to be fairly compensated for their time knowledge and expertise. And the system is getting better, despite what some people would have you believe.

Point of clarification. Those two things are mutually exclusive.

-implementation (not creation) is key to a financial plan.

-many bank advisors who provide mutual funds only are good at their jobs and accredited.

I don’t think necessarily the once/yr call is good, but maybe for the right client.

That was truly the stupidest thing I have ever seen in sports. Like literally no reason to throw there. I’m still shaking my head all these years later.🤯

To your point on mass market, mutual funds from bank channels are the best option for many who need basic financial advice. No one is stepping in to fill that gap, it’s not lucrative. Alternatives- MLM’s and Finfluencers are exponentially worse.

Great as always Robb! My take:

-10% of financial planning is creation of the plan and 90% is implementation.

-many bank advisors are PFP/QAFP/CFP who actually know what they’re doing and serve mass market.

-The AUM model has been proven the most effective model for advisors and clients alike.

It’s early and who knows how it will all work out. But the polls swinging wildly like this gotta make PP nervous!😬
February 9, 2025 at 4:00 PM
It’s actually hilarious to watch Capn’. They were laughing and touting the polls a month ago. Now calling the same polls fake.😂

There’s no point in trying to guess what the unhinged Orange Asshole is going to do next. And there’s no substitute for a well thought out, long term investment plan.

It’s so disheartening seeing the world normalize this lunatic. Like we have to appease this asshole because he’s president.

I actively avoid buying from businesses that I see on there. Fuck them.✌🏽

Don’t worry pal. They don’t. It’s just Elon’s bots from Russia and India that want to push that narrative at the other place.

Don’t worry! They only appear on the garbage dump of social media X. Chances are they are selling something- a course, life insurance or real estate.

The best lesson I ever got was the first stock I ever bought. Nortel. I lost about $6,000. It was devastating at the time. But it wound up being the cheapest most impactful education that I would ever receive.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing this!!!

Partially. In stock picking you are not likely to lose everything. Depends on how you look at it.

In betting the outcome is binary, W or L. And you are programmed to lose, the vig and gamblers peril. Maybe more comparable to options trading or day trading?
