I read something recently that was about how a certain pathetic type of man NEEDS there to be violence against women in the world, because they get some innate manliness and feeling of purpose from the idea in their head they are a protector (despite never actually protecting anyone)

I think there is benefit in newspapers/magazines leaving critical reviews of books by established authors. Not of midlevel/newer authors, and people online going out of their way to slag off books they don’t like is always uncalled for
