Tried Ball x Pit since it's free on Gamepass (I'm canceling after this month because price hike). It's basically if Vampire Survivors merged with Breakout and you had 15 minute rounds instead of 30.

Landed home safely. Had a great weekend at MOTL! Bombed out of my (absolutely stupidly stacked) pool in DDR, but had a great weekend. Shoutouts to all the OhioDDR folks for continuing to put on phenomenal events.

Folks going to MOTL - anyone have spare space at a room at Best Western? For various reasons I wasn't able to confirm travel until recently, and all hotel rooms there had sold out.

I've never paid attention to most of Round1's food prices (and they do have some pretty good food and drink deals), but $31 for a bowling alley tier pizza is absolutely criminal.

I can finally go outside now. Despite a few very frustrating parts I hope they eventually patch, IMO this is up there with one of the best Metroidvanias ever made.

Rolled credits on Silksong today. There is still A LOT of content I've yet to go through. Game is absolutely massive.
Overall game is great and criminally underpriced at $20, but it definitely needs a patch or two to balance out some of the more frustrating parts.

I beat the hardest Silksong boss - getting through 30 minutes of store crashes before actually getting to buy the game.

As someone who's played Hearthstone since December 2014 (Goblins vs Gnomes release) and how consistently GOOD the game was for almost 10 years, it's so sad seeing how fast the game deteriorated in a little over a year. Enshitification fully ran its course over the game and it's beyond saving now.

While getting my car serviced this morning, I successfully helped a woman who didn't speak fluent English by explaining in my gringo Spanish how to operate their coffee maker (one of those big touchscreen ones with everything in English). I think that's a win?

Rogue Prince of Persia is made by the Dead Cells dev team and is literally Dead Cells x Prince of Persia. The game also has cross progression across every platform. And it's currently free on Gamepass and PS+.

Finally got around to playing Animal Well and got the credits to roll today. I think the hype is justified - game flat out plays well and the amount of secret discovering (especially after you "beat" the game) is vast. I'm still blown away they made the entire game fit around 40MB.

Earlier while playing DDR, someone on an adjacent cab came up to ask me how to change the difficulty on DDR World. I told them they're not crazy and showed them how to do it.

De-rusting on DDR after not playing for a month+ is the biggest whirlwind experience ever.
Set 1 - Struggling to read the arrows, my legs are wobbly, my timing is all over the place, I'm running out of breath playing 14s.
Set 5 - I have 5p 75% of the way through on Aria ESP.
