Miscommunication is a really interesting one because if it's lazy I hate it, but if It's realistic (let's face it, 90% of relationship issues are miscommunication) its fine. I really am vexed by the "No critical thinking skills" fmc, that puts me off big time and goes right with miscommunication

That is really interesting. Is this the kind of insight you can really only get from knowing people in the know or how do you keep on the pulse of these things?

Its not a shock but it is frustrating - I've been working on my billionaire romance series for a while now and hoped to publish this year. But hey - I guess that's just the way of things.

1000% to the point that all the ones I write have somewhere fun to live - landed gentry estates, London Manor House, Scottish castle, Peak District Farm... maybe i need to add cabin in the woods to my list though!

I love wallowing in a subgenre until I get sick of it. I did cowboys a while back 🤠 (obviously Elsie Silver is a must) and now I'm considering hockey since I've not yet read a single one of that type 😱

I don't trust my self control so spaced out would work better for me. That said from your perspective if you released them all at once I defo wouldn't forget to read them so I'd binge the series and you get my readership anyway maybe even a better guarantee?

I see the temptation I really do (it's forced onto you everywhere, even on canva now), but people also need to see it reflects thier work also. Who's to say the book isn't AI written? Plotted? Snuck in there?
