(i am in therapy, i am working on abuse recovery, i'm not trying to worry anyone. the feeling is just extraordinarily loud as of late and i needed to say it somewhere.)

i can cognitively recognize that's just how it is sometimes and it's not personal; but when it's a lifelong experience, man is it difficult to not entertain the "maybe it was just me/maybe i wasn't enough" mindset! i can't say i wish this particular assortment of feelings on anyone else. it's rough.

the people that got it, got it (and the amount of lit up eyes and smiles were absolutely worth it)
