The more I write, the more I gravitate towards Hungarian folklore and legends. I thought I would start this new series, Hungarian Folklore Crumbs, to share my amazing culture with you as well. 😊✨ The legend of the Lidérc is especially close to me, given that my current WIP revolves around them. 🐦⬛🪶

The serpent drew nearer, its massive coils undulating with grace. It was both terrifying and mesmerizing, a creature of nightmares and tales. Then, through the water, a sound reached me—the Siren’s song.
