Not much difference between Coventry and Kings Heath for me but going into the centre is more difficult. I don't really know what the answer is.

There are a few reasons, I think. The main venues are away from the city centre and the university, a diverse population, not that easy to get around and park. No real recent musical heritage? 🤷♂️🤷♂️

As you probably know, it's one reason I go to Coventry more these days.

I think the continued issues on attendance means fewer bands play Birmingham which means lower crowds.... It's very sad to see.

Birmingham gigs are very hit and miss I find. Especially for this size of band. Went to see Bob mould a few years ago and the crowd was shockingly small. I struggle to see why it struggles so much.
