More than 20,000 books and other materials have already been removed from shelves, moved for now to the Downtown Bend Public Library.

When the Central Library at Stevens Ranch opens in the spring all those materials will move there permanently, ready to be checked out.

This was once a country that rewarded reading widely.
You don't have to agree.
You don't have to read things you don't like.
You really should allow others to read according to their needs and desires.
Books contain worlds of information. The pursuit of knowledge should always be rewarded.
