Having lived in Rio for more than a decade, Júlio assures that he was not inspired by the Chilean artist. Named AmoRal, a combination of love and morality, it is built with broken tiles that he collects from the trash. But it was definitely inspired by Lapa stairs. 2/2

The artist is from Minas Gerais, Júlio Pedroso. He changed the look of a staircase in Copacabana around 2018, it was a run-down, dark place that was full of crackheads, and it was transformed into a modern version of the Selarón staircase. 1/2
