Their intensity is wonderful, and I’m full of admiration for the team. I do understand (and share, to some extent) the frustration of watching the “hey, they can’t possibly call all the fouls, so here we go” method of on-ball guarding.

Do you see the pattern similarly? I’ve wondered whether they still miss Kyle Anderson’s impatience with missed assignments. I can’t stand Dillon Brooks, but it sure is noticeable that the Suns started trying consistently when he arrived.

Jon, for the past couple of years, I’ve noticed that many members of the team have said after games that they just didn’t come ready to play, didn’t take their opponents seriously enough. In decades of following pro sports, I can’t remember another team making those comments so often.
