Quick photo note from Bremen, a city which has always got lefties in the administration, 2.8 bicycles per head (biggest cycling city outside Holland), socially minded despite being one of the poorest areas in Germany. And yet, bloody cars... 😑

Wow. Just had a look on the map - a huge amount of green. Not sure why I am surprised - after all, I grew up in rural London (see photo (cow in forest)) - and have always headed for the lakes when I have visited Berlin. Cities can be more rural than the country sometimes.
