I have to admit I always dislike this. Makes it look cool for the referee, but hard to parse and implement. Given examples aren't too bad except for 2, but in general 3D figures would almost always be more clear if they were 2D IMO.

This sounds incorrect, total US consumer spending is ~$19 trillion, ~2/3rds of US GDP. Is the claim here that the growth of investment in data centers is in nominal terms greater than the *growth* in consumer spending? That sounds more reasonable.

That’s literally not what I said at all, you’re clearly not backpedaling after being flagrantly wrong and have resorted to baiting for more engagement. This is sad, I am blocking you.

Smoothbrained take. First and foremost that chat is simply inaccurate; EU defense spending for FY 2024 was €326 billion, or 1.68% of GDP (eda.europa.eu/news-and-eve...). Beyond that, “increasing marginally” is not the same as hitting Rutte’s three percent target from after the invasion.

EU defense spending remains under 1.7% of GDP despite years of pledges towards 2 and even 3%. Which universe are the facts you’re referring to located in?

They keep on saying they’re going to increase defense spending, but it’s been three years and it never seems to materialize

I’ve tried crowdsourcing this on Facebook, but so far efforts have proven unsuccessful.

A for loop should be equivalent in all cases, though should never halt if the series is infinite. Pretty sure this holds even for continuum sets. Integration is sort of its own thing in more modern math. While the Riemann integral is a sum, the Lebesgue measure isn't in all dimensions.
