The First Amendment's Establishment Clause prohibits the government from making any law “respecting an establishment of religion.” This clause not only forbids the government from establishing an official religion, but also prohibits government actions that unduly favor one religion over another.

The New Apostolic Reformation, or NAR, is a growing Christian Nationalistic movement that aims to control seven parts of American life: family, religion, education, media, arts and entertainment, business, and government. The call this the 7 Mountains Mandate and many GOP folks are active members.

Resist. Revolt. Reclaim.

My superpower is that I say about 10 words of pure brilliance each day. The words aren't necessarily in the same sentences and are never in the correct order.

It's truly sad that so many people perished less than a century ago to defeat the evils of fascism that so many faux patriots are bringing right back. Anti-intellectualism and Nationalism (Christian or otherwise) is the biggest threat to democracy and equality this country has ever known.

I don't blame anti-fascists for feeling torn between 2 feelings, or any combinations of them, right now. They both involve disgust with knowing that a good chunk of the US population voted to keeping giving the most narcissistic person in the world the only thing he really cares about: Attention.

Just finished my first semester of college at the age of 45 with a 4.0 GPA. The first few weeks were a struggle but I just stayed on it. Pretty proud of myself.
