The video gaming space has been doing this stuff for well over a decade. Hopefully the T-Swift fans actually diagnose and blame capitalism instead of getting their hobby hijacked by grifting culture war losers that blame women and minorities.

Going into my fourth round of teaching sports, media and society at CU. Obviously the political conditions this time are vastly different than before. Spent some time thinking about what to talk about on the first day of class next week. Landed on opening up class with a lecture on this artifact.
