My Thunderbolt case & M.2 SSD (since '21) keeps unmounting. Heat?
Might upgrade my temp SSD to 2TB. USB4.0 is separate from Thunderbolt, isn't it?

Helmet's geared up. Time to see it in action.

It feels like the sky is divided. It's interesting that it's not a gradient. It's a little cool today.

Continued, Continued, Second From The End, At The Cafe In Kitabashi Where Tomokazu Miura And Kyung Kyung Ate Soba, Ichirose Malt Highball From The Morning. Amanawa Jinmeigu Shrine was also pleasant with the summer green, the sound of cicadas, and the pleasant breeze.

Spicy salt ramen (Aotang) with boiled eggs and pork toro char siu. The probability of getting pork toro char siu was about 1/3 or 1/4.
I think Ikken was the most visited ramen shop in Kamakura. Is it the number of times after Ofuna Kobuki, which I went to when I was in high school?

Huh. Cicada.

To make the OK trip easier, I eyed e-bikes for the hills. Before I knew it, I was in motorcycle training, staring at bikes and tools, watching money vanish. Big mistake, clearly.

There are quite a few people who can't stand eggplants, and some who find them absolutely intolerable. But why do frozen meal boxes include eggplants so often, even when there's no real need? It's not even listed as an avoidable ingredient in Nosh. I closed the lid in frustration.

I temporarily stopped smoking in September 2015. Before I knew it, it's been 10 years. I keep saying I haven't quit! But I've disposed of everything related to smoking except for the Zippo lighter I got from my wife.

Is the platform in Kita-Kamakura?

Speaking of which, we received a notice that the road will be noisy for about six months due to the gas pipe replacement work.
When I asked if the sidewalk tiles would be fixed, they said there's a plan, but it's not their department. So, it seems like it will be fixed eventually.

Kōmyō-ji Temple is incredibly relaxing when you take it easy in the hall. Even on hot summer days, the breeze makes it perfect. The sounds of children playing and the wind create a lovely atmosphere.

I always thought Meiji Real Estate had lots of locations in the Tokyo metropolitan area, but it turns out they were mostly local. So they were real estate agents in Chigasaki, Fujisawa, and Kamakura.

It seems like you can't store the actual files in a separate storage and edit with lightweight RAW, or switch between catalog-like things. Switching from Adobe Lightroom to Photomator might be impossible.
June 30, 2025 at 1:48 PM
Did Apple buy the company that makes Pixelmator? It's nice that it's a one-time purchase. I'm curious about how they'll handle the catalog, and I do use Photoshop's image rendering from time to time.
June 30, 2025 at 1:31 PM
Huh? When did Photomator come out? Is it going to meet the same fate as Aperture?

Did I get it right that Kamakura is cool in the summer and warm in the winter?
I had someone look into comfortable towns within an hour of Shibuya.

UNIQLO's heat-blocking umbrella is a bit bulky, but it's cool.
It's only available at some stores and online, but it seems it will be in general stores in July.
Thinking men shouldn't use parasols is so outdated. Even older guys use them now.

Lining up to eat Yokohama Hanten's meat soba, which is said to be the soul food of Chigasaki. They say it's less crowded than usual, but the line isn't moving much. Is this normal?

No waiting for the beach to open.

Papaya and the Thai village also have signs. It's coming, it's coming, summer is coming!

I find it odd that people who want to become programmers (engineers) are saying they'll put their portfolios on GitHub. Is that how it's supposed to be?

According to the Apple Watch, it's 27.1 degrees in Kamakura.

Oh, the small park prohibits dog walking? I didn't know that.
People who let their dogs run free on the beach or use excessively long leashes should also be addressed, right?

Come to think of it, the Democratic Party for the People also has thoughts on end-of-life care. They skillfully address the difficult issues that everyone is struggling with but finds hard to talk about.
