Frankly, these are horrid. And if, as per the author of the article, “book covers can provide a tonal context, or at least give the readers some hints as to how its publisher wants the text to be understood” - what do these covers say about the publisher’s intentions?

Sometimes I feel I picked the worst moment for a career change. Then again, deep down I know that it only could have happened this way, at this exact time.
