Thank you if you read this. If you're experiencing something similar I'd love to hear from you! I dropped pictures of the dogs and sheep from last Fall for some entertainment. The dogs are Tess, Jaina, and Wyatt. The lamb is one of my 2024 babies who is staying with us, Valentina.

It's hard to give voice to the sorrow. Someone on TT said DT IS America - greedy and corrupt - and Democrats voted for an idealized America that doesn't exist. The rest voted to try to get a piece of a pie that isn't for them. I definitely will be spending some time reconciling with that.

The point I'm trying to make, badly, is that I've always known the leopards would eat our faces despite doing all the things "right". It's difficult to watch people willing to watch it happen and still believe that "it will all work out". People who benefit from these systems more than we do.

My partner and I have never drawn from aid (the one thing we got was a first-time buyer's home loan that we paid back over time and then finished paying when we sold that house). We've consistently contributed to the economy. Don't get me twisted, if you've needed aid in a time of need I'm glad.
