We are disappointed that the government wants to 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗔𝗧 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 on festival and leisure tickets to 12%. This measure will lead to an economic setback for organisers, more expensive tickets, a competitive disadvantage and reputational damage of our sector.

Events should not only be innovative, sustainable and accessible. 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲.
