It's bizarre that anyone is allowed to be a parent.
The only requirement seems to be
- Being an adult
- Having functional reproductive organs
There are people out there, who if they become parents will probably abuse their kids, yet aren't stopped from being a parent.
And then the kid suffers.

When in doubt whether you should do an act or not as you're concerned it might contribute to rights violation of animals, just trait equalize(replace the animal in the situation with a human) and ask yourself whether you would now do the act?
