Just exporting my latest track to WAV and go this pop-up!! WTF!!

It's been just over a month since my third album was released. I thought it was at least as good as the second (the positive reaction to which exceeded my expectations) but it has basically bombed. It's not that people are listening and deciding they don't like it, it's just that nobody is 1/3

Resfeber is the track from the latest album with which I struggled the most. Multiple changes of arrangement, and seemingly hundreds of mixes, until I finally found what I was after. It’s notably more ‘experimental’ compared to the other tracks #ambient

Apparently I’m supposed to keep up the promo activity even after the album is out 🤷🏻‍♂️ In that case, wander over here: linktr.ee/evenlode

New album out today in all the usual places. Electronic/orchestral, ambient, beatless type stuff. linktr.ee/evenlode

Strictly speaking, it’s already out in places like Australia and Japan, since it’s already “tomorrow” there. Rest of you will have to patiently wait…

I made it known to the Trump team that they were NOT authorised to use my music at his inauguration. He seems to have honoured this request. Also: check out this cool merch!

Excited to announce that the new album has an accompanying short story by my good friend @speranza62.bsky.social

Not far from evenlode HQ is the Henry Moore Foundation. This is the rear view of this very nice piece (the rear, because you can only see it from the front if you pay to get in…)

Just a few more days and the third album gets its release… #ambient

Menacing structure at Dovercourt. Very “War of the Worlds”

Ludwig Wittgenstein gets a mention on the forthcoming album (out next week), so I thought the least I could do was visit his resting place. The Ascension Parish Burial Ground in Cambridge #ambient #philosophy

It’s been a bit frosty 🥶

I posted this on Threads, but because fact checking has been removed, nobody over there believed me. So take my word for it, or wait until 22 January and check Spotify yourselves #ambientmusic

Local paper jumping the gun somewhat on the next album’s release (it’s scheduled for January 22nd), but nevertheless grateful for the plug. More news shortly…

Same vibes as this excellent “bought with” pairing on Amazon: Chorus FX Pedal and several gallons of vinegar

A little further along the North Norfolk coast, Holme Dunes National Nature Reserve, just before sunset. Convinced I have some form of low-level synaesthesia, as I can ‘hear’ pictures like this (and have had various levels of success translating that to #ambient recordings)
