I sometimes wonder while passing by some of these developments how anyone involved in making them or having to consider living in them don’t feel immense dread upon seeing them. The shoddiest shoeboxes with gleaming signage about delightful new communities with nary a transit connection nor shop!

Its such a profound lack of imagination. Safeguards in the article is presented as a few final checkboxes right before the end, rather than a collection of systems for providing actual safety and flourishing long before it would be necessary death as the only respite.

the plan is continuing to get to know / share with my neighbors, and to figure out if there's one mask suitable for both aerosol transmission and wildfire smoke. tho still worried about the egg thing, or whether its possible to get robust defense from mRNA shots (and whether people will take them 😑)
