The series literally only exists because Sega was manufacturing a mascot to appeal to 1990s youth trends to rival Mario. He's always been extremely flexible he's like Mickey Mouse with sunglasses and a chronology lmao

The games are made with children in mind first & foremost. Sonic is whatever kids currently think is cool whether that's skateboarding or hitting The Griddy lol

Even beyond tutorial guy I think a lot of people just in general don't give a fuck about the Federation and they should take the increased presence to actually fucking develop it beyond "generic sci-fi military people"

The only actual games where Samus is ENTIRELY alone on her mission (Prime 1 optional hints don't count) is the original/Zero Mission, Return Of Samus/Samus Returns, Super, and Prime 1, only 40-50% of the games.

She shouldn't be a chatterbox IMO but she's also NOT a self-insert. She's her own character with her own backstory and personality. She shouldn't be a complete mime.
