Why do I write short stories? It's all about the voices of adults, long, long ago. One story from my childhood led to my very 1st mystery story: "Grown-Ups Are All Alike" - & it got published in AHMM!!!! What a way to start a writing career!

"Collateral arrests" - there's a term to remember. It's going to be used again and again...
Tom Homan admits that a number of people ICE just arrested in Boston are "collateral arrests" and hence not criminals (city officials are urging ICE to release the names of all the people arrested)
