Yeah, you’re most definitely correct. My naive take is those things should be able to coexist. I find it hard to believe that the hardcore collectors of physical media would suddenly stop buying if a streaming service rolled out.
But the risk probably isn’t worth it to your point.

It would definitely be more of a luxury with nearly every show on Relisten, to your point. But having readily available access to the best possible recordings of the hundreds of releases across Dave’s Picks, Box Sets, etc., would be pretty damn sweet.

They have all the Dick’s Picks, Euro72, and select box set releases on all the streamers, but I’m asking for a service with everything (Dave’s Picks, every box set release, etc.) a la Live Phish+.
I’d personally pay a handsome annual fee for that.

I mean I totally get not wanting to play 75-80 shows a year if you don’t need to. If ~50 shows is the new sweet spot, hopefully we get far fewer festival appearances and one setters.
