Rolling into my 30s with new binoculars! Surprised to find out that 8x42 worked better for me in terms of eye relief and field of view, but they seriously impressed me on a visit to Garden of the Gods, including spotting a Prairie Falcon high up on the cliff.

I strongly believe that if they weren’t so common, birders would flock to see Mallards. You can’t beat those iridescent heads and wings.

Anyway, find some joy in nature if you can. Also protest at your state capitol tomorrow to show our government that none of this is okay with the people.
