Lovely morning at Somerdale #parkrun. Big turnout in memory of Joan Gibson, former Somerdale RD, parkrun #volunteer stalwart and #Bitton Road Runner, who sadly passed away just over a week ago. Well done to Tina Dury and Lyndsey Miles for a great send off. Rest in Peace Joan.

How about taxing the rich to feed the poor? How about strengthening our ties with Europe? Everyone knows that Brexit has been an unmitigated disaster - play on these things. Work with and for the electorate, instead of victimising the disabled & trans communities. You know it makes sense

🧵I see there’s some howling going on about parkrun for the crime of being inclusive. I went to a parkrun book event the other day. There was a woman in the audience who is in her 90’s and has dementia. Her companion said that she loves parkrun, knows when she’s there and it makes her happy.

Back after a week's unjustified suspension. No reason was given other than "in breach of Community Guidelines", and apparently I was spamming. No evidence has been given. I await a response to a request for evidence from @bsky.app moderators.
