And here’s a lil timelapse of the process of painting this. I love Procreate! It’s helping me practice my in-head visualization. It’s not as concretely valuable as using references (please do!) but I love the experience of rendering the surfaces in my head to really comprehend the lighting.

More development over the underpainting! I’m loving how this is coming out. Painting on a screen surfaces makes a huge difference painting confidently. Almost makes me wonder how I worked all this time without it. 🤔🤔🤔🤔 Feel free to ask any questions about my process so far!

Fun lil snake piece I did a coupla years ago. I start all my sketchbook works with ink directly, but with this one I started with the color marker. It was a fun exercise to visualize the bends and overlaps of the serpent before rooting them in with ink.

Finally finished watching Crashing all the way through after starting season one when it aired and loved it. It’s such a brutally honest but compassionate slice of life show. It felt good to see somebody dealing with being a late bloomer like I did. 😅
