The problem with being too late on protecting electoral and democratic systems, is that at some point you can just be too late. We’re hurtling towards elections meaning less and less, and that can often be a one way road.

Games have been $60 since I was in high school. It’s honestly way crazier that they haven’t gone up til now, rather than them being $80 now.

I hope you’re right, but I just worry about protestors and dudes with guns getting into it at night. Both in things just happening, and how it’d go if they were asked to do something over the line, whether people would balk.

I don’t think martial law, but the ability for the national guard to come in and do what they want and leave doesn’t feel out of bounds.

It’s funny to me that their whole thing is “do these things to be popular and win elections” which I’ll concede isn’t wholly unimportant, but for my life dems seem unwilling to actually spend the political power they get to do things. What’s the point of winning if you don’t do anything?

Selling and immediately buying a car is a good way to light a bunch of money for taxes and stuff on fire.

I’d go for much more in the 8-12 miles a day range unless you’re really into the trekking part and have the feet and warm in boots for it. It lets you spend some real time on your feet, go places, but not just spending all day hiking. Go hang out in camp instead, it’s more fun.

It is, I had forgotten just how much I enjoy reading his work.
There is a lot of political work which is well written and important, but so few that are a genuine pleasure to read just with the flow and writing alone.
