honestly I was sold on black mesa back when it was still black mesa: source, and it was just a straight up “what if hl1 looked and played like hl2” project

that was like 13 years ago. ah, how time flies.

see that’s my secret is that I played hl2 first and didn’t like hl1 that much. so black mesa was just everything I could’ve asked for
