I help busy parents build a profitable newsletter with content marketing and tiny emails in just two hours a day!

I think it's the lack of an algorithm. Harder to mess things up when content is being distributed amongst a closed network of friends.

Not exactly. Build your newsletter via blogging on Medium.

Probably not. 😂

You just have to stop making excuses and do it!

So, what are you waiting for?

Start writing! (12/12)

That’s more than enough time to make your point. But not so much that you water it down with unnecessary fluff.

If you can consistently produce a couple of 750-ish-word Medium articles per week, you should be able to easily earn between $500 to $700 on the platform each month. (11/12)

You can accomplish that in the 5–10 minutes required to drink your morning coffee.

If Moses could chisel the 10 commandments on two slabs of stone, you can tappity tap tap on your iPhone for 10 minutes a day, can’t you?

750 words equates to a 3-minute read. (10/12)

But remember:

Just because you should write daily, doesn’t necessarily mean you need to publish daily.

Consistency doesn’t have to be 1 article a day for 365 days a year. It can be 1 article a week if that’s all your schedule allows.

That’s approximately 107 words a day. (9/12)

While technology can be a distraction, it also makes achieving your goal easy.

3/ STAY CONSISTENT

Life always gets in the way.

Shit will happen and trip you up the moment you’re on a roll. (8/12)

basketball practice.

My treadmill has a laptop stand attached so I can write while burning calories…

And the Medium app on my phone clocks the most screen time of all my apps.

There’s no excuse for not writing. (7/12)

You must maximize your environment to make writing easy.

This can be difficult if you have small kids, but you have to get crafty.

I take my laptop with me everywhere I go and even have an attachment so I can place it on my steering wheel whenever I’m waiting for my oldest to finish (6/12)

Building a house is easier when you have a blueprint, and writing a blog post, newsletter, or even a book is easier when you have a system.

2/ CREATE A ROUTINE

Nothing crushes a budding writer's ability to produce content more effectively than failing to establish a daily writing habit. (5/12)

A 750-word article breaks down roughly like this:

• 50-word introduction
• 200-word subsections (x3)
• 50-word conclusion

It’s far less daunting to produce a piece of content when you have a template you can follow. (4/12)

1/ BUILD A SYSTEM

If you want to write fast, you need a repeatable system.

Your process should resemble snapping together individual Lego blocks to create a complete structure.

You do this by following a map. (3/12)
