I hear ya. I've recently introduced my partner to "Murder, She Wrote" (incredible show, one of my favs) and a LOT of that show was filmed in my very small hometown. It's prerry surreal.

I got this a lot while in family therapy with my dad (who I've since had to go no-contact with) when I would bring up concerns I had about things he's said and done which were met with "how dare you, after all I've done for you!" like, bruh, I've supported myself since the literal day I turned 18.

I've been catching up and I think I literally got to where you're referring to last night. I was all, "well, with everything else they've accomplished so far, why not?"
