If the Patriots were to fire Jerod Mayo, it should only be for Ben Johnson.

Otherwise, give Mayo at least 1 more year. Draft and sign actual talent, and if he cannot succeed then, it’s a different story.

Firing a first-year head coach for not winning with a terrible roster YOU built is laughable.

People are STILL sleeping on Penn State, even after giving Oregon a run for their money in the Big Ten Championship?

Even after dominating SMU in all cylinders in the first round of the playoffs?

Even with their two losses coming versus teams who are now in the CFP quarterfinals?

Laughable.

Today feels like an awesome day for the Red Sox to sign Juan Soto

As I posted about on X, I took my first trip out to Penn State in June to honor my late grandfather, who turned me into a diehard.

He drove the Blue Bus for the football team in the 80s. In fact, one of the final college football games we watched before he passed was Michigan-Ohio State in 2016.

The path for Anthony and James Caruso becoming top-notch players at Pinkerton has been nothing short of extraordinary — which included five years of living in Vietnam, and moving all over the United States.

The brothers come from a very athletic family.

“The fact is the Patriots were again afraid to let Maye take his shot.

I just don’t get the apprehension. If I, one of the greatest cynics in the press box, can believe in Drake Maye, why can’t they?”

Longo isn’t on this app, but I had to share his column.

At some point, the training wheels need to come off.

My first thread here, and it’s a good one:

Everyone always talks about how the Red Sox refused to pay Mookie Betts. I get it, generational talent.

But can we PLEASE talk about the state of the Sox at the time?

Coming off of a disappointing 78 win season, half of the team was nearing retirement.
