Text that reads: "Mikke and the Bear" tells the tale of Mikke, an intersex genderfluid royal from a small kingdom, and Björn, a man cursed to be a bear during the day and only retake his human form at night. Björn's curse can only be lifted by marrying a maiden fair who shows his bear-self compassion and spending five years together without his bride seeing his true form. After Mikke treats Björn's wounds, the curse recognises them as the maiden fair. Their marriage grows from one of necessity to one of love until four years later when (something) happens, leading to Mikke seeing Björn's true form. Whisked away by the curse, Mikke goes in search of their husband – determined to find him again.
