Two Sundays ago, I adopted a second dog, kind of terrified that she wouldn't mesh with Violet. I think it's going okay.

The last fabric group I buy from started carrying a line of prints with blatant sloppy AI-generated images. I didn't realize it until I bought yardage of a different print. I guess that's one way for me to save money but also booooooo.

One week a year, the holly tree outside my window is swarmed by birds -- American Robins and a few Cedar Waxwings. This year, it just happened to be during the first little snowstorm of the year.
