Yes, you are right. I think the same way, and it’s quite scary. I don’t know enough about USA political system, but from what I understand, it’s not that easy to change, and there are still enough people who will try to prevent it because of their motives.

Well, its surprising that Musk has so much influence, and I do see it as a concern. However, Trump wont be able to run for re-election in 2028, and I dont think he currently has enough power to change that. I believe the institutions are still there, which is what truly matters. What do you think?

Id say this is a feature of democracy-you have the right to choose, and that choice has consequences. But its not permanent - both you and those in power know it. Its far scarier when a person/group gains more power for years, bypassing institutions, leaving few chances to transfer power peacefully.
