I'll never be pain free ever but I'll settle for my more usual levels of "less pain than this."

It's chronic. I'm always in pain, just varying levels. I am quite good at hiding it and functioning relatively normally. Usually it's not too bad but yesterday and today it's been bad. I've had every treatment short of surgery, and I won't do surgery.

Honestly, I wish I had her confidence in my chosen profession at such an early age. It took me almost three decades to stop feeling Imposter Syndrome, and even then, I am not that confident in myself. She's not egotistical, and she has high levels of anxiety. But she knows her art is good.
